Concrete Slab Calculator - Metric
Calculate the volume of concrete needed for a slab using metric measurements
Formula's used:
length * width * depth = V
Example calculation:
slab length = 10 m
width = 8 m
concrete slab thickness = 100 mm --- changing mm to m 100 ÷ 1000 = 0.1
10 * 8 * 0.1 = 8
You will need 8 cubic metres of concrete for this slab
Calculation
- enter the length measurement of the slab in metres
- the width of the slab in metres
- thickness of the slab in millimetres
Results
- square meters of the slab
- amount of concrete needed in cubic metres
- concrete needed in cubic yards
- concrete needed in cubic feet
When Ordering Concrete
This concrete calculator will help you in estimating the amount of concrete needed for your project. The amount given as needed, does not include any waste. It is recommended, depending on the job you are doing, to add anywhere from an extra 4% to 10% to your concrete order to make sure you have enough concrete to finish the job. Ask when ordering the concrete. They will be able to give you a good idea of what is needed.
