# Elevation Grade Slope in a Percentage, Millimetres

This calculator will calculate the difference in elevation from a slope in a percentage and a length in metres.

##### Example calculation

a 6 metres long garage floor requires a 2% slope6 * 2% = 6 * ( 2 ÷ 100) = 6 * 0.02 = 0.12 mthe difference in elevation for this garage floor equals 0.12 metres = 120 millimetres
