Approximate the volume of a tree in board feet using the International ¼ Inch log scale using metres for tree height and centimetres for the tree diameter measured @ breast height (1.37 metres)
Board foot value results are similar to the Girard form class 78 table.
This calculator uses the merchantable height of the tree measured from a 30 centimetres (0.3 metres) stump height to where main stem diameter equals a specified limit.
