Calculating Number of Acres Planted from Vines Planted

How to calculate the number of acres planted from number of vines planted, row spacing and in row spacing of the vines.

The question was asked if I plant 6000 vines with in between row spacing of 2 metres and in row spacing of the vines of 1 metre, how many acres did I plant? The property is very odd shaped, two roads, large pond and a some of the rows are terraced. The actual area is about 4 acres.

The easiest way to calculate this would be to convert one acre to square metres.
1 acre = 4046.86 metres
To calculate the vine density per acre based on the above numbers:
4046.86 / ( 1*2) = 2023 (rounded) vines per acre
Divide the amount of vines by this number
6000 / 2023 = 2.966 acres of the 4 acres planted in vines.
