- Enter the length of the wall. (feet+inches)
- Enter the rise of the roof pitch (rise/12)
- Enter the length of the board. (inches)
- Enter the exposed face of the board. (inches + fraction)
Ex: Fiber Cement Siding Most commonly used board size: 12' x 8 1/4" installed with an over lap of 1 1/4" giving an exposed face of 7 inches. - Enter a waste factor if required. (percentage)

- The square footage of your Gable.
- Amount of boards needed to cover the Gable.
- Amount of boards your waste factor adds.
- Total amount of boards needed = 2 plus 3
